Back to the begining

Ok, so now that I have finally got going on this I want to take you back to the start. I expect that you may get bored if I post thousands of pics - so I will post selectively.

Understanding the change that happens in your life when you have a child, is something, I think that takes some time to set in. While not all of the changes are aligned to your personal preferences, the enjoyment that you gain from them being in your life is enormous!

This first one is of Joshua still inside Cath's tummy. This was a self portrait, using the mirror in the bedroom to see the LCD on the back of the camera!

Here is baby and Mum - just 2 hours after being born.

Here is the little man only 16 hrs old.

As you will see below I have finally worked out how to post pictures onto my blog. I have only posted a few of the many hundreds of johsua. I will post more soon.

New Year

New year is always the time when people go off making the most ridiculous "New Years Resolutions" - and then do nothing about them. I have been there and done, well, nothing - like everyone else. I have also not made any resolutions, and, well, still done nothing. So?

Goals are what we should be making - and then reviewing them. I did that this year - and while I didn't necessarily achieve all the goals that I set - I did get closer on a lot of them than I was when I wrote them!

So what is the plan for next year - to be honest - I dont know yet. But what I do know is that God is Faithful, Merciful and GOOD! We have many things to be thankful for, and many wonderful things to look forward to.

Alpha and Omega - the begining and the end

Thats just another of the wonderful names of God - and what this post is to this blog - well at least the end.

It is one of those moments - when you suddenly realise that the username and password that you have entered is wrong - that's when you know that it has been way too long since you logged in.

So why am I doing this now - because usually around this time of year there is less to do in the office and I suddenly remember that I still have a blog.

Well what a year - the birth of my son has changed many things, the least of which is my social life!


The one great thing it has done is to make me value the moments in between. I am one of those typical A type personalities - always rushing to the next thing. Definately prone to stressful situations - and while those do still exist, it is with gladness that I can say that the moments in between are great!


There are many changes planned for this next year - one of which is to get set up at home with a PC and a connection - SO - hopefully there will be more posts, pics etc of the life and times of the Vaughan clan.

If there is anyone out there that knows me that reads this please let me know!

Seeing that there might be people out there who actually read this I thought I'd start again - probably cause the imminent birth of my son is something I's like to broadcast
